About the Business Badgers
The Brock Business Badgers, formerly known as the Brock Business Ambassadors, carry the responsibility of representing Brock University’s Accounting and Business Programs. The main objective of the Business Badgers is to increase the quality of business students at Brock University.
In the past, the club’s Business Ambassadors delivered presentations to secondary schools in the Niagara region, which promoted Business at Brock. A large number of students are now applying to Brock Business Programs, and the new goal of recruiting the highest quality of students is in place. In addition to recruiting higher quality students, the Business Badgers Club will improve the quality of current students attending Brock.
The Business Badgers Club’s main events include ”The A-Team” and Internal Business Case Competitions.
The A-Team event is an orientation day for the top students that have applied to one of Brock’s Business Programs. These students attend Brock University for the day and have the opportunity to tour the campus, visit lectures, and obtain further answers to questions about life at Brock and the Business Programs offered.
Internal Business Case Competitions will now be offered through the Business Badgers to improve the quality of students that already attend Brock. Internal Case Competitions will be offered to first and second year students and they will simulate what a real University Business Case Competition would entail. It is the club’s goal for Business Students to be more involved in case competitions and to increase Brock’s ranking at University Business Case Competitions.
